his piece is loosely centred around an old house/warehouse isolated in rural Co. Clare that was unoccupied for decades. What was interesting about it was it turned out a group of artists had taken occupancy in this space and used it for studios space/workshops and group shows. They all relocated from inner city areas such as Dublin, Limerick and Galway to rural Clare in pursuit of creative careers in the arts but financial stipulations and the stranglehold on properties left little/no room for studio space in these City areas. So essentially in the face of adversity they were able find incredible prosperity and establish an institution. An uncovered diamond in the rough!
