We are delighted to be featured in L’Officiel France, in Eliott Offenstadt’s article, “Des ambitions renouvelées pour la Ceramic Art Fair” (Renewed Ambitions for the Ceramic Art Fair), published ahead of the fair’s second edition in Paris, taking place from 20–25 October 2026.
Our warm thanks to Eliott Offenstadt for speaking with Cynthia Valianti Corbett and highlighting the gallery’s longstanding engagement with contemporary ceramics, its support for emerging artists and its commitment to making exceptional art more accessible to collectors.
The article explores the growing international ambitions of Ceramic Art Fair, including its expanded programme at the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, and features Cynthia Corbett Gallery among the international exhibitors contributing to this year's edition.
Cynthia Corbett Gallery in L’Officiel France
English translation of the passages featuring Cynthia Corbett Gallery, originally published in French.
“Alongside its expansion within the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, the fair is also extending its international reach.
Among the international gallerists travelling to France for the occasion is Cynthia Valianti Corbett. Originally from Massachusetts and based in London, the gallerist has traditionally presented her ceramics at Collect Art Fair, a fair dedicated to British craft.
Her gallery anticipated the surge in popularity of ceramic art in the United Kingdom, where artist Edmund de Waal is considered one of the medium’s leading figures.
Among the emerging artists she represents, the creations of Jemma Gowland are particularly noteworthy. Drawing on quintessentially English traditions, Gowland creates charming little creatures enjoying tea, when they are not adorned with fans.
Cynthia Valianti Corbett champions a more accessible art world.
‘Today, there is a real need to offer unique works by recognised artists at affordable prices,’ says the gallerist, whose gallery’s works are among the most affordably priced at the fair.”
The article goes on to introduce Brooklyn-based Powerhouse Arts, observing that it shares Cynthia Corbett’s commitment to making art more accessible.
