Fern Girl was dramatically revealed on the W4th Plinth in Chiswick, accompanied by the Chiswick School choir in full voice and with the generous support of the
Romanian Cultural Institute. The unveiling brought together Cristina Schek, supporters and the local community for a wonderfully spirited celebration of art in public space. Presented by
Abundance London, the new public artwork transforms the piazza with Schek’s surreal botanical portrait, marking her return to the W4th Plinth following
The Ceiling in the Sky in 2023, and making her the first artist invited back for a second presentation.
Alongside its public presentation on the W4th Plinth,
Fern Girl is also available to acquire as a limited-edition fine art print for private collections.
