Young Masters Art Prize Exhibition at LA Art Show 2024 Artnet News

Fabulous Artnet News feature of gorgeous Isabelle Van Zeijl's work and our anticipation is building for the LA Art Show scheduled for February 14-18, 2024, at the LA Convention Center.

Following close on Art Palm Beach’s heels, the LA Art Show will return next month with a Valentine’s day opening on February 14 a the Los Angeles Convention Center and running through February 18. The Opening Night Premier Party will be hosted by award-winning actress Lucy Hale and in collaboration with the American Heart Association—the LA Art Show’s new charity partner. Like with its counterpart Art Palm Beach, 15% of all ticket proceeds will go to the American Heart Association’s “Life is Why” campaign.

Of the 2024 edition of the LA Art Show, Kassandra Voyagis said, “With over 100 galleries, museums, and nonprofits exhibiting this year, we continue our commitment to creating the most comprehensive contemporary art experience possible. This year’s show will celebrate art—globally and locally—and inspire important dialogue.”

One such program promoting ongoing dialogue is the return of DIVERSEartLA, which has partnered with seven international art institutions to focus on ideas around memory, humanity, and the advent of A.I. Curated by Marisa Caichiolo, highlights of the partnerships include the Nevada Museum of Art, presenting “The Journey” by Guillermo Bert, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Bogota, staging “Mythstories” by Carlos Castro Arias.

And participating gallery promise to show equally thought-provoking and timely exhibitions. Among them, Tanya Weddemire Gallery is slated to present a range of work by four significant Black artists who delve into ideas around identity, culture, and resilience, coinciding with Black History Month. Elsewhere, the Young Masters Art Prize featured exhibition is set to be presented by Cynthia Corbett Gallery.
