Miles Regis Debut at Art Miami 2023

This year at Art Miami we are thrilled to be debuting the work of Trinidad-born, LA based artist Miles Regis. His vibrant, kinetic work weaves together contemporary social issues, ancestral history, powerful imagery, and his background as a musician, performer, and recording artist.

Miles Regis shares insight into his artistic endeavors at Art Miami, viewing his work as a mirror, reflecting the current sociopolitical landscape, but with a rebellious edge. Rooted in personal truths, Miles Regis aspires for his art to resonate with others.

Regis’ expansive mixed media paintings on canvas and linen incorporate dimensional collage elements, along with his skillful, expressive, and vividly colored abstract and figurative painting techniques. Brimming with hope and humanism, Regis adopts a storytelling approach in his stylized depictions of essential themes like love, loss, freedom, survival, activism, and living history.
Regis’ clientele includes Jay Z and Beyoncé, Halle Berry, Spike Lee, Mark Cuban, Mariah Carey, and Russell Westbrook, among many other discerning collectors and celebrities.

Work by Regis is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Intel Corporation, the California African American Museum, Senegal’s La Musée Borindar, and the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives in Ontario, Canada.
