This October, Cynthia Corbett Gallery artists Tom Leighton, Lluís Barba and Deborah Azzopardi will be participating in Artworks for the Cure, a ‘benefit art exhibition, auction & more,’ alongside a large group of over 100 contemporary artists from around the globe, working in all types of media, from photography, paint and mixed media artists, to the graphic artists of some well-known musicians. Participating visual artists include big names such as Yoko Ono and Janis Joplin, and music artists such as Leonard Cohen.
Artworks for the Cure 2013 will be presented by the T.J. Martell Foundation, who help with early stage research into the cause, treatment and cure for cancer, leukemia and AIDS.
