10 Summers: A Decade on Artsy and Cynthia Corbett Gallery
Celebrating 10 Years of Curatorial Excellence and Global Collaboration
Online Exhibition | Artsy | Summer 2025

To mark a decade-long collaboration with Artsy, Cynthia Corbett Gallery proudly presents 10 Summers: A Decade on Artsy and Cynthia Corbett Gallerya landmark online exhibition celebrating ten years of artistic innovation, curatorial excellence, and global reach. This special summer showcase brings together ten celebrated Gallery and Young Masters artists in a vibrant and diverse curation, each representing the dynamic spirit that has defined the gallery’s presence on Artsy since 2014.

The exhibition spans a wide range of practices, from modernist silkscreen and digital surrealism to radical ceramics, vibrant textile art, lyrical abstraction, Pop Art, expressive figurative painting, and conceptual storytelling. Each artist takes centre stage in an individual Spotlight Viewing Room, while a central Viewing Room offers a curated selection of highlights capturing the full spectrum of the gallery’s evolving vision.

10 Summers reflects the gallery’s ongoing commitment to supporting both established and emerging artists across disciplines, with a particular focus on women artists, queer voices, and artists of colour. The featured artists include:

  • Andy Burgess, whose new hybrid screenprints—created with Jealous Studio, translate modernist architecture into dazzling, handcrafted multiples.

  • Ebony Russell, winner of the 2025 Brookfield Properties Craft Award, whose piped porcelain forms reimagine Wedgwood aesthetics in radical, ornamental sculptures.

  • Margo Selby, recently spotlighted by BBC News, presents woven abstractions from her Nexus series, textile works that explore rhythm, repetition, and colour through geometric form.

  • Daisy McMullan, whose luminous paintings document the emotional ecology of overlooked urban wildernesses, layering folk pattern, deep ecology and expressive brushwork.

  • Deborah Azzopardi, a pop-art icon whose bright, flirtatious compositions (Summer Breeze, The Great Escape) are as cheeky as they are collectible.

  • Cristina Schek, Transylvanian surrealist and digital storyteller, whose Diving Upwards series celebrates optimism, imagination and strength through water-borne symbolism and lunar poetics.

  • Elaine Woo MacGregor, painter of lyrical cross-cultural narratives, whose works draw on imagery of water, ritual, and memory through expressive abstraction.

  • Susanne Kamps, whose painting High Tea evokes a painterly, tea-soaked dreamscape with nods to Matisse and the quiet joy of ritual.

  • Freya Bramble-Carter, whose soulful ceramics blend femininity, legacy, and myth, grounding the exhibition in earthy, elemental form.

  • Miles Regis, whose exuberant mixed-media painting All About Dem Hoops brings a kinetic blend of abstraction, activism and storytelling in vivid red.

Together, these ten artists embody the gallery’s ethos: to honour tradition while embracing experimentation, and to elevate diverse voices through compelling visual narratives.

This digital exhibition looks back on ten transformative summers and also gestures boldly into the future, toward new artistic possibilities, deeper curatorial collaborations and a continued commitment to championing groundbreaking art on the global stage.
